So if Trinity trained Pea Eye to roll in tha mud...who trained you to roll in the mud with Pea Eye  ???  I notice you say "we"  ;)

That should of been "he" but he has bowed up once 'er twice and I have landed in the mud.....Bambino what Sod Buster said.

Marshall Will I seen them reenactors use that foam...I don't know I'd want that in my match guns...  In fact I start shootin' Balloons I think thats good enuff reason to buy another set of Roooogers. ;D

Y'all give my big brother a break.  Poor Bambino can't help that he loves to take horses... and sell them to other parties.

One Labor Day weekend a few years ago, I watched the 6pm news, they had the Lancaster County Sherriff's Explorer Scouts on TV.  Some of them got to go out in the plane and look for "pickers."  When asked if they had seen any, they wern't sure, but they had seen a large pot patch in a pasture by a pond out in the middle of a section with a couple       pick-ups near by and some guys in cammo out in it.  The said the ground units were gonna check it out.  Yah, bet there were a couple of Labs in there also with feathers on their lips. ;D

That stuff gunks on as bad as plastic wads with BP shotshells. If I did it all the time, I'd buy a gun just for that.

A lot of times the guys I work with use cap and ball and use vermiculite over the powder.  I don't do the shoot outs with them anymore, to much risk of me falling and tearin' something inside.

We do do one once in a while in the cook camp though, the blacksmith's take a 12 gauge cap lock shotgun and load one barrel with 150 grains of 2F and they have a dowel that just fits the bore and use a deadblow hammer to seat the charge.  We hide the shotgun out of site and a while when the tourists at Rock Creek are all gathered someone starts a row with the cook, no one expects it cause it ain't of the sceduale.  Anyway I grab the shotgun, they run like heck for about 75 feet to get a safe distance and they turn and "TRY" to draw, 'fore they clear leather, baawhhhhooom. ;D  I shoot about 20 feet low and about 20 feet to the left and the shock wave still gets them, good way to break in a new guy. ;D

(The shotgun should never be put in anyones hands that don't understand it, they are far more dangerous than a blank pistol.)

These guys I was working with had shotshell loads that were great fun, but nothing like that.

That one would rattle windows a bit in town and must be used with a fairly long safe zone.  We want to do one with a Quigley theme some time with a full case of 2F compressed in my 45-70 Sharps,

Problem 1, we need a loooong safe zone and the longer the better for affect, 300 or more yards,  (This load blows fire for about 25 yards after dusk)
Problem 2, one must have a good viewing place for the tourists,
Problem 3, must make sure their is no chance of a tourist gettin' in the way,
Problem 4, need someone that can run like heck for 300-500 yards on a hot day. ;D
