Thanks for the coffee.

Happy B'day Bambino.

If it can't be nice, eaten, make money, create comfort or provide real pleasure.........kill it or trade it in on new one!

Well, my match is getting rained on right now. The forcast is for rain all day, getting lighter as the day passes. Meanwhile, I'm not going to make it to the shoot because it's raining fairly steady right now, especially on the match.  :-[ I was going to try out my new loads. Now I'll have to do it at the range. That's a better way to check them, but not as much fun, by any means.

Quote from: litl rooster on April 22, 2007, 03:50:57 AMhehehehe Marshall Will's playing with Black Powder ;D
Yeah, that's always great fun. Those blanks are worse to clean up than straight BP. The plug was made from florists foam. That stuff really gummed up the barrel. Took as long to clean one gun as it normally would to clean two pistols, my rifle and shotgun. If I did re-enacting all the time, I'd have one pistol just for that. Lots of fun, though. I may get to do it again today if the weather blows through. Time will tell how the day will pass. Worst case, I'll work on my new leather and the grips on my pistols.

Happy Birthday, Bambino.

Next time squirt some carb cleaner down the barrel. ;)

Ya, it don't make any differance which organization and what time period a person works with, I always have a big laugh at the "hard cores" who don't take their stuff out to the public.  Makes a lot of sense just to keep it among a few folks of like mind, if they don't take it out in the public once in a while they might as well run around in regular clothes or naked. ;D  But heck, what do I know, I once got called a "hard Core" and a "Farbee" in the same thread. ;D

Glad ya had fun pard, did you read about the event at Rock Creek Station in Cosie's Corner, a long way from home for ya, but ya would be welcome to come, I seldom ever get to see much of it cause I get stuck in my camp, but some good stuff goes on, I hear that fella that does the dutch oven cookin' ain't half bad. ;D

I agree on taking it to the public. People really like watching a bit of history, real or not.

Hard to get out your way, but maybe one of these days it'll happen. Gotta be when I have more time.

Slim, Find a group near you that does it and jump in. It's loads of fun.

Afternoon. ;D It's 72 and sunny here for a change. Got Susie's horse's oil changed yesterday and gave it a bath. No, lR, it didn't go roll in the mud afterwards.
Gonna go out and kill a bunch of weeds in a little bit. Got my spray stuff and I'm gonna get them pesky weeds. >:(......................Buck 8) ;)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Buck, sounds like your gonna do what I need to.  I've got enough weed killer to make up 250 gals of spray, I need to go down and mix up a tank ful and spray around the turkey houses, don't want them weeds getting a head start.  may have to hook up the brush hog later this week  and work over some grass down at the barns to.

Heck it grows in the city parks and all along the creeks in town, a customer lives next door to the county sherriff and said he gave him heck a couple years ago cause he (the sherriff) had some in his yard.  He just pulled it and tossed it in the trash.

I'll see if I can find a good patch up in July or so and get a photo. ;D
