Interesting thread.  A few years ago I had the opportunity to disassemble and measure the components of an Armory converted 58 from a museum collection.  Six shot.  Centerfire.  I had planned to have a machinist friend make me a recoil shield and donut conversion of the perc. cylinder, but I moved.  Wish I could find my notes.

Of course now I'm gonna have to have you make me a mate for it for the strong side......

One can never have too many holsters and I do shoot two Original Remy conversions.

Did you get to the range yet to burn some of those 44 Rem/Colt C.F.'s.
