Just finished this a couple days ago...

The two holsters are based on the holster on page 92 of PACKING IRON.  I like the hand-made basket pattern and worked something up that I tooled into these.  The pistols are REM 1858 with 5 1/2 inch barrels.  I made one handle out of some old moose antlers and the other out of curly maple.

The belt is a fairly standard Ranger style with 35 .45 loops.  I am thinking of replacing the California style buckle with a roller buckle as that is mush easier for me to cinch up tight....

Nice rig. I like your adaptation better than the original. It looks more balanced and the square, sewed in toe plug really works nicely. Good job of making a Schofield design fit a Colt.
