Thanks again for all the kind thoughts!

I had a loong day last Thursday afternoon...into Friday & came home that afternoon.
Fortunate to get done before the storms hit. It was more "fun" than I had imagined...well, not really...A few free extras...and surprises along the way..will make for better stories at the next get-together :D

Much of our area has been without power/phone for the past day or two. Fortunately we only lost phone service for a short time.

And, what a way to lose those unneeded pounds.....Fortunately, I've been keeping some fat in "reserve" for just such an emergency.

I'm hoping for lots sympathy hugs from all the women-folk next when I get out/about. I may have to start with light-duty hugs to warm-up & work from there.

I need to get around to home-fabricatin' (cave-man style) a screwdriver bit to fit the dreaded Uberti. Possibly to use with a std gunsmithin' screwdriver set, ratchet or an impact driver.

If not, I'll pass the concept on to someone who will make it available for purchase & buy one instead.

I admit there was some luck getting Books' out.

It's amazing how many things can be fixed with a stone, a file, a ball-peen hammer & the nerve to start pounding on a firearm  :D
