Does anyone know if there will be any Boot Makers at the convention? I surely need to talk with one...

Terry Lane and the kind folks from 'The Fort' will be there and they generally carry a full line of boots. In recent years the most popular one has been the expandable top model for guys that need the larger sizes, they look great and everyone that gets them swears by them for fit, finish and form. If you are looking for a custom boot, get a hold of Lone Gunman, he had a pair made a year or so ago for next to nothing and they look fantastic!
I'm sure others will chime in here with tips and makers, so good choosing and drive safely!

Ol Gabe,
Sad to say The Fort Old West Shop will not be at the NCOWS Convention this year as a vendor. The new management has put a stop to all road trips for the time being. Thanks for the plug though. Holly and I will be attending and helping Gary Madison with Gunfighters Moon on Saturday.

S.T.T.,
Give me a call and I can probably bring some boots for you to try on. Take care.

Smokey, meause your foot like this if you want:

Put a yardstick against a wall and put your heel against the wall, have somebody read the length and not which toe is the longest.  Measure the widest part and note how far that is from the back of the heel.  Measure the width of the heel.  PM those to me and we can get a very good idea as to what size you need.  99% of the time when we send out a boot after those measurments it will be right.
