Thanks, Michael. It is good to be back.

We hunted on private land the first two days and good our limit (3 birds per day per person).  :) The weather was good. It rained on Monday and hunted on public land. We did not get our limit.  :(  On Tuesday, we hunted on public land, also. The weather was better, but we didn't get our limit. On Wednesday, we hunted only for 3 hours on private land, but did not get our limit.  My dog did much better this year. It was her second hunt. I got a shock collar after last season because she tended to not listen to me when birds ran. She is a lab mix. She even pointed on birds a couple times. She has a great nose. She found downed birds that the other dogs could not find. I had a good time. I need to practice on clay pigeons more 'cuz I missed too many birds.

Delmonico

I'm prudy good with a scattergun when I practice, need to again, got a teachin' method that works well on folks cause I got a dollar says ya be stoppin' yer swing when firin'.

We need someone ta run tha trap and I give ya one shell at a time.  I stand behind ya and when ya fire and stop yer swing I give ya a #13 in the butt. ;D  Funny thing is it has worked fer a couple a friends.  But just think of my #13 while practicin' and I bet yer smart enough not to stop yer swing. ;D

The fella that tolt me I'd kill more pheasants if I shot them in tha head tolt me that one.  He's a former State Skeet champ so he knows a bit bout shootin' movin' targets.  Funny thing is I always thought he was an intelligent fella, but he ain't as smart as I thought, a mutual friend said he gave up a Rhodes Scholarship cause he wanted to stay close ta home fer his schoolin'.

Any way go practice Slim and think of a #13 boot behind ya attached to guy 6' 1'' and bout 225.

I am pretty sure that is what I was doing. No follow through. Do those #13's have steel toes?  :D

Four-Eyed Buck

Welcome back, Slim. At least you were able to miss some. We don't see any around here to even miss! :o population has been sparse for more years than I want to admit to. we don't even have any quail to speak of either. winter of 77-78 wiped them out and they just didn't recover. The house I had just before that had bunches around it. After that one winter ,none to be found...............Buck 8) ::) :'( :'(
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....
