Got an E-Mail from Jim Scoutten that Tom Knapp broke 10 hand thrown clays today, officially confirmed. His old record was nine. He was using a Benneli semi auto. i have trouble hitting two in row from a machine let alone 10 thrown at once by myself.........Buck 8) ::) :o :o ;D
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

I used ta could do 3 with a pump gun, thought I was good, never could get 4 unless it didn't break when it hit the ground.  Thats why I never bough an auto loader, I eat up to many shells trying ta do better.  There was some one, can't remember who back in the 50's and 60's could do 6 or 7 with a Model 12 Winchester, the old model with out the disconector. ;D

To put it in perspective, Ed McGivern used to routinely break five.

Of course he was using a revolver.  ;D

Delmonico

Ya but Ed was good, besides that it's hard to find a place safe to do that any more. ;D

Yep, ol Tom was using an extended mag tube. But that Benelli cycles real fast. That is without a doubt the fastest semi-auto shotgun made. It's way faster than my Browning Auto-5. :(
He shouldn't ought'a decorated his saloon with my friend.
