Cimmeron Schofields

First I would like to say howdy to on and all, Im new to the board.  Next I want to ask about the Schofields from Cimmeron, I just saw them advertised in the last issue of my Cowboy Chronicle
Are they made by Uberti as well??  Thanks for the input.  I looking for the Schofields for something different, already have the SAA's but I do this more for fun.

Done and Done.  I figured that they were Uberti's.  I was going to get a pair last year but things did not work out so I got a 1873 SRC in 45LC instead.  I heard about the ASM's.   A gunsmith friend of mine warned me about those as well.   I contacted Cimmeron yesterday and left a message requesting a call back.  I was askin about their Schofields, their MH Repros and about a 2007 Catalogue or 2007 update on their internet site.  Im thinkin this week will be tough for anyone doin things with the firearms industry since SHOT is this weekend.  If I get a call back I put it up.

Howdy Rosco,
As you mentioned, most everybody at Cimarron is off to ShotShow, and they will have so many calls to return when they get back that you will have a better chance at answers by calling back later.  Only Val is there at the moment answering phones and I'm heading there tomorrow to help out for a few days.  I don't think they have any Schofields in yet (they didn't the week before Xmas and I don't think they've gotten a shipment since then).  It looks like the MH repro is not going to happen, at least not by Uberti.  Too hard to get them to do new projects these days, plus when they finally do they let all the importers have it now (1876 and Remmie conversion, for example).  I know Mike Harvey is looking at some other manufacturers for certain projects, so who knows if one of them might make the MH some day, but not soon.  As for catalogs, I can't say as to when a new one comes out.  Some years they have a new one in time for the Shotshow, don't know if they do this year. I know we were still giving out old ones at the SASS convention, with flyers in them for the newer products.  And updates to the website happen at various times.

End of the year?? As in the end of 2007?   Holy Smoke!!!!!!!!!!!   I'll keep my opinions on advertising to myself
