Well,....I wonder ifin they can come in any cheaper than the Hartford Armory Remingtons?..... I'm sure they'd be on par with the Hartford quality.

If they're made by USFA, the quality will certainly be better.

Marshal, could you expound on that, please. I don't own a Hartford Armory nor have so much as seen one so I have no dog in the fight so to speak. I heard that Hartford Armory "farmed out" everything, but then again who cares what's in the cake as long as it's good.

If I remember correctly from the old Frontier Spot you had a Hartford Amory or two or am I all wet?

I had a pair of them. I'm not going to get into details here, but it was a relief to see them go. I had a second pair on order for my wife. I cancelled that order and got my money back.

Here it is hot off my visit today
I spoke to the USFA Owner

I saw
In prototype & evaluation
CNC mocked up frames only ( not finished machined )

1858 Remington New Model Army
1873 Winchester lever Action & barrel
Colt Ace 22 Auto ( perhaps by years end )

1875 Remington is being considered ( though no CNC machining was on display )
The two Remington's and the 73 are a long way out ( maybe two years ) " certainly not this year " is his QUOTE !

I would love to know of the problems you found with these pistols. I have been shooting a pair of 1890's for 2 years ans IMHO there has NEVER been a finer single action pistol made, including ones by Feedom Arms.
