I wasn't able to find anything about it on the USFA site when I looked to learn more about it.

The NCOWS guns are from  Long  Hunter now . There USFA guns and he even does a little extra slicking up .

What caliber are you looking at ? And what barrel length ? What ever you chose you will LOVE there guns ( USFA ) are Excellent .

Rowdy,
I'm not looking for anything specific at the moment. I just keep seeing this thread subject and wondering what makes the USFA NCOWS model different from their other models. I'm trying to get a ballpark idea of which, if any, of Peacemaker-style guns I *might* want someday. Also, since it takes me time to save money up for guns, it's good to ballpark price-ranges.

Deadeye Dick

I looked on Long Hunter's web site and couldn't find anything for an NCOWS USFA revolver. Wonder if he is out of stock.

Deadeye Dick, Think it is a deal with Longhunter and you must contact him. Tj

Deadeye Dick, Dr. Bob is correct. You can order and get whatever you want from USFA. However you can get a deal from Longhunter with action jobs and still less $$$. He has some kind of deal with USFA and he does good work.  I shot with him at Range War in Texas several years ago and he is an alright cowboy. Tj

Rowdy, Keep us informed on the USFA. I going to start puting some money aside. Since I have the gunslinger to go with my 45 colt USFA NCOWS revolver, I may go with a 44/40 this time. Tj

Just got off the phone with Gary Granger and the deal is on . the cost will be $875 and you get your ncows # for your serial # The gun is a Premium with a case colored hammer . The barrel length and caliber is your chose .

You can order your NCOWS gun from USFA or Long Hunter Shooting supplies  . If you want the extra work Longhunter does it will be $100 extra instead of $175 . The NCOWS gun is $875 which is a good deal The special serial # cost $100 and the color case Hammer is an additional $115 , and the Premium gun sells for $895 .The NCOWS gun will save you almost $250 .

Used my NCOWS Pistol at the Eastern Regional, and it shot GREAT . I won the Working Cowboy class with it . If it wasn't a good shooter   I would of never carried it . Oh it also won a side match where you shoot through a Axe handle hole .

Tjackstephens

Rowdy, I used my USFA NCOWS revolver at the Eastern Regional along with a USFA Gunslinger and they did very well also. You are correct they shoot good. Tj   ;)
