What a great thing it is to see the USFA advertisement in the new Cowboy Chronicle.  I am so intrigued, I just may have to go order one.  Oops, my wife just reminded me I already have a couple on order.  How the devil did she find out?

What puzzles me with the ad, is a watermark of a Wichester 1873 and a Remington 1875.

I wondered about that also. And their play on the four little letters, and buying the rights to several Colt names has got me wondering if some of the rumors I have heard aren't true.

Wouldn't that be something the "4 letter word" aholics would choke on.

Okay Guys, I don't have the Cowboy Chronicle.  What is it about the ad that has all of you so intrigued?

Never mind.  I see they have the ad on the USFA web site.  Pretty clever. :D

I was gonna let you know that, but I got busy on something else.  I think only one page of the two is showing on the web site.

Capt. John Fitzgerald

Greetings Doc,
Yes, they only showed one page.  Did it get better on the second page?

That would be great if the company one day was called US and Colt's Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Co. Inc.  The Coltaholics would have to call 911!

Doc Sunrise

Capt. it does get better, especially in light of the Outdoor Wire news which states USFA is getting ready for plans of making Winchester 1873's and Remington 1875's.  On the second page it shows a Bisley model with wording about USFA being the 4 letters for the next generation.  Unmatched Quality, Superior Service, Famous Brands, Always at Your Side.  It goes on to say "Watch the USFA website for exciting news where The Legends Live.  There are three water marks clearly showing a lever action rifle, a Remington sixgun, and of course a SAA.  By God it is a dream come true.  100% American made, and we better dish out the support and put our money where our mouths have been about US made guns remaining in the US.
