We went to Cabela's to do some browsing and walked out with a Winchester 1895 in .30-06. Carbine Model. Very nice.....Gotta love the wife.

I got one too! Just finished a trade for a British Bulldog in 38 S&W! 6 shot & double action and in very good condition. It's in a brown truck headed my way. Not nearly as impressive as a 95 in 30-06 but a new toy none the less!

Yep, that business of "just browsing" in Cabela's (or any gun shop) can become financially hazardous!

(I was recently "browsing" a compact Kimber 1911, in anticipation of Concealed Carry in Kansas.)

Well Major Matt sounds like Santa was very good to you. He stopped by my house last week for some turkey and left me a pair of 58 Remington Army .44's. So next year at ther GAF Muster I'll be able to shoot the Plainsman match with ya.
