30-30 with black

I've read a lot of reports over the years of folks trying out the 30-30 with Black Powder. Most have reoported that the combination does not work very well, that the 30 caliber bore tends to foul out too quickly.

My copy of the Hodgdon Data Manual No. 26 lists a load of Pyrodex with the 30-30 with good results.  The bullet was the Lyman #3113316 (.309).
