Me of course. I was wondering if the other pard would see the post and pipe in, but guess not. The occasion was that GunClick Rick drove all the way down to give Calgary Kate some stuff to send off to the troops. He wasn't able to shoot due to some problems with his leg, but it was nice to meet up with him. I always like being able to put a face to a cyber pard I have met previously only on the net.

I was hoping to throw you pards off a bit, since I had grown some fuzzy stuff on my face and was wearing my old clothes from pre howdy days. I guess when I said ugly you knew right away that was me.
One time I felt good, was right after Open Range came out, a lady asked if I was Robert Duvall. I wanted to say yes and give her an autograph, but Heidi Doody would have none of that. We had gone to a local BBQ place and I had worn cowboy duds, but no hat. I suppose the grey hair threw her off. I think I look more like Robert Duvalls horse than I do him. The lady may have had too much to drink.

Yeah, well if ya really want to know, I was hopin' that you would see the uncanny resemblance that Forty Rod has to Mister Bluster. 

You might remember my faithful friend Flubadub also. How many cowboy kids can say they had a pedigreed dog like that?

Hey, hey, hey!  Uncle Phineas woudn't like anyone saying I look like him.  He's a vain old fart and thinks I take after my Dad's side of the family.

I'm never a stranger.  Once you meet me I become like family:  I'll lay around on your couch watching TV, raiding your fridge, picking on the dog and cat, teasing your kids, and never picking up afer myself.  Just like having one more brother-in-law.

That probably wouldn't work out too well for you Forty. You're more than welcome to my small abode, but fair warning, Heidi Doody has a bull prod (aka, hotshot) and there isn't any of that laying around stuff here. Now you know why I like to head on out for a faraway shoot so much, huh?
