RattlesnakeJack

Actually seems like pretty amazing stuff - I've been using it for a while, and am impressed.  It was developed in Germany in 1904, though I take it only became available in North America in the 1990's ... it seemingly has the proverbial "thousand and one" uses!

Here is the U.S. distributor's website - lots of information there about it (e.g. click on "Product Uses' ...)

Jack;  I got my BALLISTOL from  <www.passapcanada.com>  They are somewhere near TO, and respond quickly.

Sir Charles:

The Canadian distributor is who I dealt with also, but I presume John B. is located in the States, so I posted that link ....

Good stuff, eh?

Jack;  I use CLR to clean cases, especially when using Nitro powders.  Recently I had a bunch of .38 Spl cases.  Put some BALLISTOL on a paper towel and rolled the cases around on it.  My thought at the time was to make sizing easier, even with Carbo dies.  I didn't wipe them off after sizing/de-capping and just dropped them in the plastic bottle with the CLR (Well used by now, as a P-bottle from the doctors office is used to store it so it can be used many times.)  Well;  The addition of BALLISTOL must make something like moosemilk, as the cases came out after several minutes of a good shaking "factory clean"!

BTW, the first wash with BP cases is with KABOOM, but I need a second wash with CLR to get them really clean.  I use tiny mops, like Q-tips, to remove the crude after each wash.
