Howdy. A pard of mine is lookin' fer a firing pin for his Armi San Marco '51 Conversion. Any tips on where to check? I'm gonna have him call VTI but I'm also looking for other obscure parts resources. Thanks.

The actual ring mounted rebounding firing pin or the hardend pill in the Hammer ?

Try http://www.thegunworks.com/ I get all my ASM parts from these folks if you E-Mail them they might either have the part in stock or be able to get it for yo.
Cousin we been ashooten at each other all day! How about we stop for a beer then we kin go home and get our axes. Or just as good, lets forget this whole dang feud, I'm agetten too old for this anyhow!

I gave up on finding replacements a long time ago. A gunsmith friend turns them out on a lathe for me. He leaves them with a longer overall dimension to allow filing for the individual gun. He makes them from tool steel. What I dread happening is the firing pin retaining ring breaking. I asked my gunsmith if he could duplicate this threaded ring. He just looked at me and laughed. I don't know exactly what that means but I hope I don't have one break.
