Ain't lost a one to heat stroke yet, learned that one from a Navy Corpsman, trained at 29 Palms and went in on the ground in 1991 in Kuwait.

The first year that we had the Muster at Jeryy's, it was plenty warm outside. I drank quite a bit of Rick's Gatorade. I had a heat stroke at the smelter when I worked out there during the summer. We didn't have stuff like Gatorade back then.

The stuff is good, the theory behind the thick stuff is you get the electrolytes you need and it makes you thirsty so you drink more water.  The Delmonico, the half iced tea and half strong Gatorade is refreshing and works also.  I take salt tablets also working in the heat around the fires.

She headed off to church and wanted to know "if you have time before you go to work"  no I'm working on writing again on my book, geez, she could have got up earlier and done it.  I'm off the whole day tomorrow and that is mostly what I'm going to work on, some folks want recipes for some of the things I cook anyway and I know any of you who have been to one of my camps know I don't have recipes, I just make it.  Anyone need one of my recipes written down?  I'll work on it.

Arcey, I seem to recall that lecture back in about 1970. I got it twice, onece from the Chief and once from my Dad, who happened to be the Sheriff of our County at the time.

LR, We've already got enough of them bitter overweight women on TV as it is. That's why I watch the movie channels on the DISH.
