Albany, NY (AP) - There's word that Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton has started actively considering a run for president.

One of her top advisers says she's personally asking some fellow top New York Democrats for their support over her main challenger litl rooster of Virgina.

Adviser Howard Wolfson says Clinton had said she'd start to actively consider a presidential run after the mid-term elections were over. He tells The Associated Press, "That process has begun."

Wolfson says he doesn't know when an official decision might come.
