I never thought about the base pin.  Sounds like a good idea.

What kind of lube do you like the best?  I've been using the Cabelas stuff, but will change to bore butter or something like that when this is done.

I'm currently using the Cabela's stuff also. I don't shoot the C&B cylinders very much so the Cabela's lube has lasted fer quite a few years.

I'm pretty liberal with it.  It's sorta cakey and I really pack it in there.   I'd like to use the stuff you squirt out of the tube, but don't like the bright color of Bore Butter.

Use mutton tallow after ya shoot some. Coyotes don't need all that fat in their diets anyway.

PR, I got three the things.  The only time I've used Wonder Wads was when Ender sold his ROA's 'n gave me his left-behinds.  Usin' them things seemed like a lot ah werk fer no return.  They've been sittin' in a baggy fer years out in the barn.

All I do is powder-ball-seat then goop 'em up with my unpatented 'Heap Bad Medicine' lube.  Works good on all three ah mine, a '51, '58 'n the ROA.

Funny this come up.  Been thinkin' on usin' my '58 next shoot.

Vote fer Rooster.  A can ah Crisco in ever guncart!

Use Crisco in yer Cap and Ball Pistols, it makes them Finger Lickin' Good.

It gets kind of runny in cold weather after you fire it.

Go to Bed, Bath, and Bedamned or Stanky Candle and mix some of that wax in with your Crisco for lube to make it less runny.  After you fire a few rounds somebody will want to know who's baking the Apple Pie!

To me a mouse phart load is one below and established loading data and could be unsafe to use.  Just shoot them in the butt with it, if it bounces off it is a mouse phart.

  It'd play hell on the Dreaded Texas Star, but it ways 25 pounds...  Don't think I could get "Montana" to hold it for one of them 17 shot senarios...  maybe just mounted to the front of my guncart....  it's a 10 gauge
