I wonder if anyone knows who is sselling parts for Colt Blackpowder Guns....the newer ones....made by the Colt Blackpowder Company. I don't know if mine are called second or third generation, they're the signature series 1860 Armies. Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge 3. generation blackpowder Colts were assembled from Uberti parts.

  Exactly !!!!

Also, if you send it to the Colt Custom Shop for any kind of repairs, they will use only Uberti Parts as that's all they have on hand. The Uberti parts will not fit right in the first original Re-Issue.

I know this for a fact, as my Colt's First Re-Issue '51 Navy has been sent back to Colt's twice for a loose cylinder base pin, and both times it came back the base pins worked loose again. This next time, I'm taking it to a local Gun Smith for repairs.

You may want to check out Colt Parts at    http://www.coltparts.com    they have original Colt's Black Powder parts and a few Re-Issue parts, and all kinds of other goodies !!!

  Good Luck
