I have just ordered a Navy Arms 1873 Win in the 357 cal. and am wondering if anyone has any experince with one ? If so is there any thing that I should be aware of ? Who actually makes this Gun ? I have been told it is made by Uberti but have also been told this is wrong. This is my first Lever Gun of Many hopefully.
Thank you for any response on this.

Four-Eyed Buck

They are made by Uberti. Navy, EMF, Cimarron, Taylor's are importers. There is another company making '73's now, Chapparal, however. They are both pretty good guns, a lot of top shooters are using them....................Buck 8) ::) ;)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Steel Horse Bailey

Have you got it yet?

If not, you'll probably find it's very well made and finished.

If SO, you've probably found that it's very well made and finished.  ;)  And probably (if it's like my Uberti made 1866) you've found that it's pretty darn accurate, too.  Mine seems to shoot the same place (at least under 50 yds - I've only shot mine once over 75 yds) with any size or shape bullet, or any type of Powder; be it many types of smokeyless OR Black Powder.
