Is there anyone besides Bob Millington converting 1860 Armies to cartridge guns? I have two that Bob is supposed to be donig but I sent the deposit in 2002 and still don't have the guns. I'd like to get another pair done, all of them are Colt Signature seris guns. Also I've heard R and D may be making concersion kits for them but haven't found out if it's true or not. Thanks.

R&D 1860's army conversion kit has been coming for some time ...still not available.

Presently I believe only RL Millington is commercially, making conversion from 2nd Gen. 3 Gen and Uberti's BP 1860's

Of course Uberti is making the Type II Richard's due here very soon ....

Ottawa Creek Bill   (This BB) is  making a Type 1 Richards as we speak... and needs a 2nd or Third Gen for his next one...
I'd  talk to him  ;)

Photo's of his work in progress is in the forum

Yes there is: Ravens Roost in CA will make (up to 1 yr. wait) either a 1st Model Richards or an authentic thin plate Remington conversion. Cost: a whopping $1200.00 (gun included)!!  :o :o
Still interested?  ;)

Actually, yes I am interested. How do I get hold of Ravens roost? The pair from Millington are priced at 1820 not including the guns. They have the barrels sleeved too but as you can see still expensive and after 4 years I still don't have them.
