I have a RCBS Mini Grand shot shell reloader and I'm going to use it for black powder shot shells only. I'm trying to find a powder bushing for the black powder, or, any bushing that fits my reloader. I do know about the "static", it's notking more than a myth. The "Myth Busters" have proved that. Does anybody know of a bushing?

Howdy Anvil Dave,

I'm not sure about your unit, but for my MEC, I found an aluminum bar that dropped the shot weight that I wanted and bored out the other side to hold the same VOLUME of powder.  Works great.  In fact, I use that same charge bar for 20ga, 16ga and 12ga.  I simply adjust the fiber wad column for a good crimp.  I don't use plastic wads with black powder.

Just cuz I like the way they look and load, I use roll crimps on all my bp shotshell loads.  I use a MEC Sizemaster collet squeezer to hold the shell whilst I spin the crimp down.  Then, I turn the shell around and squeeze the other end.  Makes 'em load rite easy into my SxS 311s.

Hope this helps.
