1858 ASP Named "Rusty" Purdied Up

I have had this 1858 ASP  Rem for about a year, an old one and looked it...fixed it up in excellant working order. Halfway Creek Charlie shot it when I first got it.
I decided to purdy it up some and i think it worked out pretty good. Used Birchwood Casey-Perma Blue Paste applied with 00 steel wool, never tried it before but found it to work great with minimal effort. Well, here's some before and after pics. You can tell me what you think. I only used two coats.

The whole process even assy/disassy... took about an hour.

Thanks to you guys I appreciate it. I was worried about makin' it look too new and losin' it's original look...but feels the same and glad it came out the way it did.
Hellgate about the 64 Impala maybe we better think on another route... that's alot a Perma-Blue...LoL!
