Beveling leather

I have another question.  Do you bevel both sides of the leather.  I use pig skin for a liner on the new belt I am making and was wondering if you beveled the lined side also.

I bevel both edges.  I like the smooth rounded edge it gives.

I bevel both edges, inside and out on a belt or strap.  It makes for a nicer look and the edges don't hang up on other things as much.

The only time I don't bevel an edge is where a piece gets sewn to another one. The leather visually meets the other piece better that way. Any edges that are exposed get beveled.
