Here's a project I've been working on. It's not exactly a Cowboy rifle, but I thought some of you gunworkers might enjoy it.  I had some great looking walnut and decided to build a stock for my Revolving Carbine.  I like the fancy Schuetzen stocks and buttplates, so I decided to put one on my Carbine.  It's got a little ways to go yet, but the profile is there.  I put more drop in the butt so I could install a tang and global target sight system.  I have the R&D 45LC cylinder in it. I'll post more photos when it is finished.  Any comments are welcome.

I added a hand made target sight system from some old stuff I had laying around.  Shows what you can do with a dremel tool, drill press, and a lot of elbow grease. The rear sight has to be shaped and polished, but it works great.
