modern catagory gun ?

howdy pards... can I use my ruger redhawk 44 mag. in the modern catagory as long as I shoot cowboy loads?  I was just wondering

Isn't the Redhawk a double action or am I missing something?

Yes, the Redhawk is double action.

It isn't allowed by any CAS sanctioning body that I know of.

oh yeah... ur right.  :-[  i shoot it single action all the time and didnt even think of that. thats why u folks are here... to keep me straight. hehe ;D
