Nope, the cut hand is coming along well, got the last of the stiches out today and don't need to have it dressed anymore.

Just having a regular match with the Cairns City Cowboys. Hopefully I can get a bit more consistancy happening. A few weeks ago I got 3rd. Last match I was more like 13th!

Up to my ears in garden clean up this weekend. My friend and his wife has a buisness cleaning up yards and farms, etc (I can't really imagine a job I'd like less).

I didn't do much, but was sweating like a navvy and staggering around like an old drunk by the end of the day. Good job my mate and his wife are made of sterner stuff, they really jumped in, felled a few nusicanse trees and lots of unwanted tangles of shrubs, cleaned out and weeded long neglected garden beds, rotary hoe'd and then levelled a section of the yard ready for some raised garden beds. We took a few loads of rubbish in his truck to the dump and they will be back tomorrow with the stump grinder and a truckload of mulch. I won't need any rocking tonight.

It will be good to get it all done though, between travelling away with work with my late wife for five years, nursing her for a year and being a widow looking after my useless (but reasonably pleasent son) the place has gone to wrack and ruin and has been a bit of an eyesore (especially given the fact that I have a old landrover and several motorbikes under tarps and spare 4wd wheels and tyres, etc cluttering up the joint.

lWith the heat and my poor state of health, I'm a shot duck, best be getting an early night.

Was planning to get down to Sydney to the Bike Show to meet Charley Boorman. Michelle was sick and my arm is still pretty bad so stayed home and watched movies instead.

Got the BMW Touring Club's Christmas Party. I might combine that with a visit to HooDoo Brown's place with my BMWs on a trailer. He is considering swapping a 2001 Bonnie for them. Hopefully I will come home with a Bonnie, but he wants me to get rid of a Yamaha Royal Star cruiser for him as well. I am so busy at the moment I haven't got time to scratch my a$$.

Sunday. Travel down to Bowral  on the Southern Highlands of NSW for there Christmas Shoot.

Oops! Belay that, I will be hanging around the house cleaning up and washing motorbikes and my 4wd.

Wow! Another weekend has rolled around almost.

Still cleaning up and throwing out junk (it was considered good stuff until recently ). Sunday moring I will pack it in, wash the 4wd in the morning (It hasn't been cleaned since well before the big duststorms we had in September). Once that's doen I will hop on the motorcycle and ride 65 miles west and have lunch at the range with the Cowra Cowboys as it is their Christmas shoot. I haven't got time to shoot unfortunately. After lunch, I will return home, drop the bike off and saddle up the 4wd and head to my Brother in Law's place in Sydney. I will stay the night and then go to the airport and pick my wife up early Monday morning. Big weekend and no shooting, don't yer just hate that?
