What's on this Weekend?

At this stage "NOTHING"!!!!!! Looks like it's going to be a very COLD,WET and WINDY Queens Birthday Long Weekend.

I was  going down to Blacktown with Longspur on Saturday to shoot with the boys from TT old club but the weather is atrocious,so it looks like I will be spending the time in front the tv and the fire.Might venture up into the shed.

Off to the range for a little practice on Saturday and then shopping to pick up a few last mintutes things for the trip to NM on Sunday.

Yep... a little practice on Saturday.

Sunday I'll be filling little brass containers with smoke, then capping them with lead so it doesn't leak out before EoT.

Might get to work on the new reloading barn some.  Need to get that finished up and move the equipment in, as it's going to be air conditioned... and the HOT weather has finally hit.

Gonna shoot Saturday at the local club then have the group over for a BBQ and swim.

Sunday I'll be making SG shells and cartridges for EoT....

Wow!  I'm keeping score at a local club Saturday then going to a BBQ and a swim too.....

Sunday?  Laundry and another BBQ

I've been cooking beans all afternoon and evening for both days......

Quick update
Newtec shhot next weekend cancelled....more to follow

Dakota Dan and Yokel Kid still do have power available after 72 hours.Hugh storms in the area on Friday.Loads of damage,flooding and trees down.

They have already drank the contents of the beer fridge.
72 hours with no Foxtel, TV, Internet.and a brand new copy of series three of Deadwood. Desperation is setting in.

I am the envy of the street.....I have a generator and a recently acquired river frontage, it may soon be a deep water anchorage or an island.

Buy land now ..................................it's disappearing quick.

Keeping the pumps running and the powder dry.

No, I have not spoken to her for a few days,had no power or phones and could not get out on the mobiles as the system was overloaded.Will be talking to her this week.

What's on this weekend?

Saturday.

Looks like we may get more RAIN for the whole weekend, we need it over our dam catchment areas,.

Sunday.

Shoot has been cancelled due to storm damage from the storms last weekend.

Morning, Lots to do,

Today I have finish getting the wagon loaded and hitched to the mule.

Saturday, as Camille said, up early and hit the road for New Mexico.  Visist some Family on the way.

Monday, arrive Founders Ranch. and let the fun begin.
