O K Trinity, here it is,  I got done with the welding yesterday. painted it a little and my wife painted on the hanky and patch and lettering.  she says she may put a stick of dynamite in the pocket also.

Now just getting to town,  we're having to stay pretty close to home with it being so hot. keep that water running to them turkeys.

but soon as I can, I'll get it to ya.

Oh boy!  Won't that be fun!  The first person to hit the dynamite buys the beer afterwards!  ;D ;D ;D

That just looks great.  I hope my range opens up again soon. (Free range in the national forrest where someone decided to build 4-wheeler trails behind the burms, thus causing the range to have to be closed until the trails are re-routed. ::) )

If the range was there first I'd say the 4 wheelers should just look afore they drive through. ;D

The sad thing is that the 4-wheelers should have been safe if it weren't for the unsupervised rednecks that intentionally shoot over the burms.  I've never seen them in action, but they have shot holes in the metal roof over the stalls and shot the dumpster all to heck.  It's laughable, but also dangerous. >:(

Hmmm, stands to reason. Little or no supervision. Shootin' stuff up like that is what gets them closed down. Here's a link to a tour of my home club's range........ 8)

Yes.  That's something that always loomed in the back of my mind.  I am a firm believer in the principle of pack-in/pack-out.  It doesn't just apply to hiking.  Whenever I leave the range, I would take the things I brought as well as any other mess laying around.  One of the main things I like about the public range is that you can bring whatever kind of target you want.  I once brought several of those darned "vote for me" signs that had been littering the neighborhood for so long and once I brought my computer from work that had been giving me such a bad time.  That was fun.

I went to look at your site, but something in my computer won't let the tour load.  I'll try it again tomorrow.  I did see your SASS section and like how it was presented.  Very clean and clear.  I like the ammo and equipment requirments.  I had no idea what I needed when I went to my first shoot. ;D

Trinity, now that I think about it, that tour has been having trouble off and on. They took some pictures at the last shoot and were supposed to post them on the site. Guess they haven't gotten to it yet. They took one of me'n'Susie, I might have busted the camera. Keep trying , it'll get done sometime.
We've got about 400 acres there, two club houses( one with an indoor .22 range), covers at all shooting lines except the long range( it's being extended to 600 yards at this time), a 200 meter silohette range with air resets, trap range with four houses. There's approximately 400+ members and growing. It's located in Midvale Ohio, east of New Philadelphia off of SR 250...................Buck 8) ;)

Oh, so it isn't my computer's fault.  Good, I was getting upset. ;D ;D

That's a large membership.  Do you ever have problems getting to shoot or do you schedule in advance?

Nope, no problem at all. They do get busy sometimes, but I've never had to reserve anything. Only time you might have a problem is when the local police agencies or IHSMA have a big shoot going on. Believe there's one scheduled for this weekend as a matter of fact....................Buck 8) ::) ;)

Woooo hooooooooo!  I've got it now.  It'll be a hoot to shoot at that big rear end! ;D ;D ;D

Sadly, I called the park and found that the are still in progress of moving the trails. The recent rains have slowed things down.  :(  They are shooting for the end of September.  At least it will be cooler.

I think two shotgun blasts on each side to pepper the cheeks and one .44 in the center to drive the message home.  What do you think?  ;D
