I just got my recoil boot from Triggersmith really nice

It has a very nice antique finish patina & and works very well with my TTn and it's steel butt plate.
It has all rawhide lacing and fits like a snug glove.

I had a Cabella's lace-on on my old Stoeger that did not fit near as well as this one fits my TTn.

Nice butt-cover. I like the way he put the pasttern around the cheek pad. I wouldn't dare put anything that nice on my old Rossi double. It'd look like a new paint job on a rolled-over pickup.

That is pertty.  I shoot my ttn 1887 from the hip and the stock has gotten dinged up good from hittinf the hammer on my pistol.  Cover like this could help.  Would help keep my pistol grips from getting more dings too from the shotgun butt.

I got a chance to blast a few rounds in my TTn.... I bought a few boxes of some reloads a friend made.
His first attempt at Shotshells with Clean shot.
We tried them in his Double and mine.

was joy to use.

With the steel TTn butt plate and six stages my shoulder was sore.
I put 22 rounds through it this morning and I'm not smarting.
