(Update 10-20-04) Uncle no longer in hospital on death watch.

My uncle has never been real healthy.  He went in for removal of screw in his foot from a previous surgery that got infected.  They found other problems and removed half his colon.  Now he is bleeding internally and there is nothing more they can do but post pone the inevitable.
Udate: 9/30/04
They were able to stablize him.  The internal bleeding is believed to be a bleeding ulcer that the will try to coterize with endoscope.  Maybe there is hope.  Keep those prayer coming.
Update 10/4/04
As of this morning he's concious and aware of people around him.  He can write but speaking is impossible with the tube down his throat.  He's been able to tell folks he loves them.  The docs are still trying to get controll of the bleeding if not he will die.  Uncle Donny has accepted that.  My grandma is frustrated cause there are not enought rides to Boston to see him.  Parents should not out live their children.

Update 10/20/04
Your prayers have been answered.  No only is he still alive and kicking, but he's in rehab.  He has a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG recoverery ahead of him, but the point is, he got a recovery to look forward to.  The bleeding is "under controll" and he lives day to day.  He could relapse and go tomorrow or he could out live us all.  Only God knows.
