R&D Drop- in's Firing Pins

I just wanted to see what other shooters do about this. The R&D Drop-in firing pins get marked up from the cut out in the hammer for the safety stop pin(between cylinders). Are the firing pins purposely a little long? Do you just keep stoning them down to a point that it stops happening? This is on a Colt Signature Dragoon .45LC.
Just wanted to check with anyone here shootin' an R&D drop in 5 or 6 pin conversions.

Well outta 51 viewers and no comments I gotta figure that I just don't have a problem or not a soul out there has an R&D .45LC Drop in conversion for any Rev.
