I got some still shots from digital movies taken at the Blue Ridge Roundup in April.  I thought I would get your opinion on whether I am meeting the new SASS rules for smoke.  Had a couple of foks question it (LOL) during the match as they backed away.

All I did was name it 'n get it started. The posse made it great. A debt I can never repay. Thank you, mi amigos.

Saw the thread and added my two bits.  I saw the pictures of Cammy.  Hope she is hooked!

Ya did great on the camera.  It is neat to be able to move one frame at a time and get pictures like these.  Thanks.

I agree with Arcey.  Cram more powder in there!  You've almost got it!  ;D

As a kid I remember staring at an E.S.Paxon painting of Custer's Last Stand as well as various CM Russel paintings and noting how the rifle fire was illustrated. There was a nice streak of fire through the smoke as shown in your rifle & shotgun photos. I think you got it down right.

Great flames and smoke!!

Don't ever doubt that there's heat there.  I launched a couple of double bottle rockets and burnt up my henley.  Singed my tummy some and made me smell like hades.  Love the Holy Black. . .

When yer shootn' bp, think like yer ggrand pappy.  Don't want to have to kill that critter twice.  Do it compleat the first time.  Don't bring no mouse phart gun to a man's game.  We're in this for survival.  Once the decision is made, shoot enuf gun to make it stick, or stay home.

Great pictures!  I'm like Arcey though, I think that you could get a little more powder in there. ;D

It don't look much like you will get challenged on the smoke factor rule with those loads. Good on you pard, awesome photo work by Arcey? well, I enjoyed the pics a whole lot.
Ya know I never saw so many folks at one shoot show up shooting BP than this past weekend. The scores aren't posted, but there was a lot of them. I had 5 frontiersmen on my posse alone, plus a lady FCD and two other FCD shooters. Yeehaw. Maybe all the controvery turned into advertising on just how much fun you can have with BP and I am sure glad to see the newfound interest. Lot's of newbies, cuz around the campfire at night there were questions on this and that from some of those that are just getting into the smokey stuff. Why there was one gal that shot LFCD for the first time and won the class even. She kept saying she thought she was going to drop a gun and that her husband loaded the stuff too stiff. No such thing.
