GAF 2006 Shoot update

  I hope tht none of you think I went off and forgot all about you. I have been working on differnet items for the shoot that will take place here at Ackley, Iowa in October. Side matches to be exact.Here they are:
1. Pole shoot (5 man team)
2. Rattle Snakes in the Gulch
3. Poker
4. Fastest pistol
5. Fastest Rifle
6. Sporting clay two man team
7. Walk through the woods clay bird shoot.
Of course we will have the Long range sniper shoot. This is an accuracy shoot. 5 shots at 100 yds & 5 shots at 300 yds.
Buffalo hunt for 45-70 types guns. We will be using 10 buffalo and I will try to have two herds so it goes faster.
I have also written 3 stages that are optional to shoot. However if you shoot them you can deduct time from your total overall score for the Mains.
Menus are planned and the banquet is set.
Next weekend the Social club will be painting and doing some clean-up( a constant thing on the range)
I am looking forward to this shoot and hope that many that post and read these messages plan to attend.

Pistol---85
Rifle----118
Shooter's choice 18+
Total is--221+
Shotugn(Bonus stages)--12+
Shooter's choice is a stage where the shooter picks which gun he wants to use and uses the appropriate ammo for that gun. However 18 is the minimum.
As stated on the entry forms, bring your shotgun for sporting clays and the walk through shoot. Ammo is not provided for this part just for the main stages. If needed we ccan have ammo at the range for sale, you need to let me know what and how much you need.
