I recently puchased a Navy Arms gunfighter series with wolf springs  I love the piece it shoots straight . very smooth action and looks great with the silver backstrap. My question Why do the springs terminate in the hammer and what are the holes in the hammer for.? I have not seen this on any other uberti. Can some one enlightin me. Thank you.      sweettooth

My initial thought is these holes may be where the hammer block pins used to be since they might never have been installed on your gun since it is tuned here in the USA.

if you removed the cylinder for cleaning, ect. make sure the hammer is all the way  home before you replace the cylinder pin, or it will go in to far and stop the firering pin from making contact with primer. I have two gunfighters 38/357 I love-em. :o ;)
