Buffalo Hunting at it's BEST

  Some of the best buffalo hunting was seen at the Ackley range this weekend. With 7 states being represented and some of our finest shooters, and weather that was great, we couldn't have had a better weekend. 
  The top hunter shot 90 out of 100 buffs.
Jay & Karen Weber put their hearts into these shoots and keep coming up with new ideas all the time. Our hats are off to them for all their fine work and dedication to this sport.

My boss shoots CAS, and he is a SASS member, but he also sent in his NCOWS info (and he is still waiting to hear something), and he is very interested in shooting the Buffalo matches.....

Even though I didn't shoot it.  I went today as a spectator and to accuire some new shootin' irons.  Its a very nice range there in Ackley.  Kayleen and Kelly we so very nice.  They really know how to make someone feel right at home.  Jay and Karen did a wonderful job.  Some of the herds looked a little intimidating from my newbie point of veiw.  But I look forward to attending the siloette shoot in May and the Buff shoot in June.  Look forward to see everyone again.  I had a great time.
