Hellow the wire!  anyone out there got a 66 winny with a realy hard trigger pull?  I do not have a trigger gage but I bet mine must have a 10 lb pull.  It realy makes it hard to hit the targets when most of my other guns are under 5 lbs, some down to 2 lbs.  Is there any thing a pard can do or is this just for the Professional gun smith.

On  to another question (Stealing my own thread) does anyone know a good reason not to shoot the 38 special with 125 grain RNFP slugs and 357 casses?  I have about 100 rounds like this through the gun.  The OAL is really pretty close and I have no trouble cycling them.  It does seem at times there is a little resistance at the last bit to lever travel on occation.  Is the chamber too small?   Inquiring minds want to know.

Oh yea, one last question about the 66 Carbine.  Has anyone tried a different rear sight.  Man the one I have is for the birds.  It shoots about 8 inches low on the notched side at 30 yards and about 8 inches high at 30 yrds when the sight is fliped up on the "key hole" large peep sight.
