Howdy! I ran across a neat old photo, http://zz.photobucket.com/albums/b306/fillmorecoffins/johnromo.jpg and if Wild Bill had lived into the late 19th or early 20th century this photograph could have been him. Anybody here have information on this picture, seen it in a book or any other sources? Wild Ben Raymond

Gun + gun belt + ammo + kidney belt + all them spots = about fifty extra pounds that tough little hombre is packin.  Now look at that nonchalant, go-to-hell-because-I-don't-care look and tell me if you'd want to brace him in a fight.

Very neat pic.

Steve, that is a neat picture.  Thanks for posting it.

Our NCOWS rules state that a cartridge must have been originally  black powder to be legal except for named rounds like the 357 and 44 magnums.  For sometime I have thought we might want to think about changing that for at least some side matches.  This would allow cartridges like the 30 caliber Luger, 30 caliber Mauser and the 30-40 Krag and 7mm Mauser.  All of these were available before our cutoff date.  Many of us have guns in these calibers and would like to shoot them occasionally.
