Two Flints

Hi,

I just purchased this Spencer Medallion from a coin collector.  Have any of you seen something similar to this?  Just thought I'd share it with you.

I would DEARLY love to make a duplicate of that.

I have casting sand and basic tools to make one with.

I should see if I can carve something like that out of wax or balsa wood and make some from either lead or aluminum.

Hmm.... thanks for the pic!!!

Hi Dakota,

I went on line to see if I could find the original maker, but no such luck.  All I know about it is that the fellow I bought it from said he purchased it from a coin dealer at the Fun Show in Florida.  It was one of a kind for sale there.

Howdy,

I saw one on Ebay a year ago, or so.  Try there periodically.
