Pondering about getting a USFA Bisley?

I have been thinking about getting a USFA Bisley, has anyone received one recently?  What are you thoughts or recommendations about caliber and barrel length?  I have been considering 44-40 with a 5 1/2" barrel.

It is my understanding that USFA is in the process of reintroducing the Bisley (along with the Omni-Potent models).  You might give them a call to see what is available.
When it comes to the SAA, I have always favored the 4 & 3/4 and the 7 & 1/2" barrel lengths.  Oddly enough, whenever I look at the Bisleys the 5 & 1/2" barrel just seems to look right.  Go figure.
