Howdy!

I have 3 samples of the Gun Butter here that I want tested on guns using black powder.
The manufacturer claims it works perfectly on guns using black powder, but I am not aware of any "real" testing being done among BP cowboy action shooters. I can do it myself, but there are more experienced BP shooters out there that can do a better job than me.

Details about the product:

I have used Gun Butter in my "smokeless guns" for about six months now and I won't use anything else. However, I won't recommend it for BP guns unless I have some positive feedback.

The only requirements I have for the testers are:

You have shot Blackpowder guns for several years and have tried different lubricants and consider yourselves an experienced BP shooter.

That you post your test result here in the darksider's den and share it with the BP community.

First 3 in line get a bottle in the mail.

Notify me of your interest by replying here and we will sort out the shipping details through PM.

Thank you.

* And enhanced lubricity to allow superior performance in all weather extremes

* Wet - stays intact during pouring rain
* Dry – repels dust and airborne sand
* Consistency in all weather extremes
* High quality product, extreme lubricity

* Adheres to the metal, will not run off
* Great for sear, hammer, and disconnector lube for a smooth consistent trigger pull
* Trigger pull will smooth and not change with fluctuating ambient or gun temperatures
