 Do you know of a gunsmith in the central texas or austin area I live near marble falls  that can smooth out my 5 1/2 cimarron opentops one only feels a little rough the other diffinitly needs work. You were right I love shooting these . How long would the turn around time be on doing something like this ? Is cimarron as fast as anybody ?
  I am not a world class shooter and never will be, they dont have to slick as greased lightning just smooth .

The best gunsmith in the area, in my opinion, is Lonnie Amman.  He's the honcho of the BVD's in Hearne.
I think he does the work for Cimarron anyway, so cut out the middle man.

For simple smoothing, there are other folks.  Depends on what you want to do..
