I was checking out holsters from Western & Wildlife Wonders web site and was wondering if anyone had a holster rig from them? If so, how do you like it? They look pretty nice for the price.

See my reply to your same post on the SASS Wire. I'll post a reply here also when I have received the order.

Coyote Tim,

I received my two strong side rig today - EXACTLY as promised when I ordered on Sat.

I haven't used it yet at a shoot and it is my first rig so  everything that I say as coming from someone with very little experience in this CAS "game".

The holsters are described as being for a 5 1/2" gun but will fit a 4 3/4" and I have no issue with how they fit my 4 3/4". They came with detailed instructions on how to form fit the leather of the holster to your gun which I have not done yet and may never do. The instructions are for wet fitting the leather to the gun but again I don't have an issue with them at this point. The right hand is better than the left and both are stiff but with a little use should break-in to fit well. The 3" belt fits very well to the body but allowes the holsters to move easily along the belt. This is only  irratating when you first put the rig on - you must adjust the holster position on the belt each time. The holsters do not move when I am drawing or re-holstering.

As a "starter" rig I am very pleased. I should have ordered it first before ordering from a custom leather provider. However, all is not lost if the adage "You never have too many guns or too much leather" is true. ;D

I recieved my double huckelberry rig today. Very pleased with the whole transaction. and the quality of the leather it is unlined but stiff enough. This will be a field holster for me not sass.
and it will fit the bill. I like doing business with people I can actually talk to on the phone. One call and shipped the same day. Sweettooh

I have two sets from them, the second ordered about a year later than the first. They are great pards to deal with and have great service and fast shipping.

Both of my rigs come with the money belt size belt and they are extremely comfortable. My first rig is two strong side cheyenne holsters, and I use it with a pair of 5-1/2" beretta stampedes. They work great.

The second rig is two strong side FA Meanea holsters for a pair of 7-1/2" USFA SAA's. I don't have the guns yet (on order), but I have the leather for them when they arrive.

Both of these rigs are COWS brand (Classic Old West Styles).
