I want to hear about the best side matches you have ever shot or seen.
Starting position, # of rounds, # of targets, shooting sequence..... anything that matters.

WE have a couple of side matches we shoot at our range.

Pure Speed (one target 7-10yds 2pistol 5 in each 10 in your rifle and 6 for your shotgun)

Cowboy Clay (15 clays)

Both shot after dark under flood lights.

Triple Texas Stars, first one pistols, up close, second one farther out for shotgun, third one way out for rifle.

I like to see knock down targets for speed pistol.  Set em pretty light, but it still makes everyone use loads that are more than just primers.  I like pistols or pistol on table to keep someone from dropping a gun and getting a match DQ.
