Greetings all.  Glad to see we got a Henry forum.  I had the good fortune to come across a beautiful Navy Arms 1860 Henry a while back. It is chambered in 44/40 and shoots just dandy.  Does anyone out there know where I can find the 4 piece take-down cleaning rod for the Henry.
I found the pictures of the rod and could probably build one from the photos but I would like to find one.

I'm sure you'd prefer a more definitive answer, but hey...this is all you'll get from me  ;D

There is a foreign military surplus 4 piece steel cleaning rod that fits perfectly in the butt of a Henry after you've removed the t-handle. I don't know what it originally was made to fit, I don't know what country it was made in, I don't know where you can buy one. It's the sort of thing you have to watch for a gunshows...then you can get one for a buck or two if you're shrewed.  8)

I have one that I got some years ago from Navy Arms (?) that is a 5 piece brass rod.  They told me it was a Henry cleaning rod made by Uberti.  If true, it is odd, because it will not fit in the butt trap of the Henry.

thanks for the reply.  The photos I have are of a 4 piece rod.  Wood with brass ends and end piece is grooved like a jag.

The one from Dixie Gun Works is correct except for the fact it's only three pieces,..............

Another problem you might run into is that the hole in the butt stock is about 1/2" too shallow,...... I used a Paddle bit and and extension and cut it deeper on mine,............
