Well, I got a note today from Dutch at Happy Trails Childrens Foundation, and this is his reply as to the orgins of my holsters:

Hi Tony:
I spoke to Will Ghormley, the maker of the holster rig you won and this
is what he told me:  The rig you have was made for Brad Pitt to use
while practicing his gun handling, drawing, shooting etc. prior to the
beginning of filming for the movie. Your holsters were not used in the
actual filming. Hope this clears it up.

Also, I did misquote the value of the rig. According to Will's site the holsters are $200 each. I was looking at the value of a full tooled gun belt which would be $300 plus, so my rig actually was only worth about $500-600.  Not bad considering I only bought ONE ten dollar ticket..(in fact I told Dutch I was kind of embarassed by that...)
