Anyone ever use Ballistol to clean their leather?

Sometimes stuff gets spilled and I see on my can of Ballistol it can be used for leather.

Powder crud from holsters is one area I have thought off.

Spilled juice/pop on the car seats from the kids.

Anyone? Suggestions? (yes, I have tried just plain soap and water...)

I've never tried Ballistol. If you give it a go, be sure to try it on a spot that's out of sight in case it attacks the finish or color. If it works, be sure to let us know.

Works great as a wipe on/off cleaner.
Don't soak the thing because it will soften the leather and on a gunbelt you don't want that.
I use it for a quick clean on my boots before the Sat festivites as well.

Oh, and will make stuff slick and hard to hold on to as well...
