Howdy all!

I picked up a 50th anniversary Single Six for my son. (At least that's what I told Momma  ;) ) THe grips are a little thick for the boy. Will Vaquero grips fit this? A Pard told me I might not want to mess with the factory grips because it is an anniversary gun and I should just get a different set to thin down, or buy some gunfighter grips. We have a gun show in town next weekend, and I thought I might look for a set there. Wanted to make sure I was looking for the right thing.  ;D

I have an old single six with RV gunfighter grips on it. You may have seen it on the show and tell we had a couple years back at my place. I suppose the grip frames are still the same. That single six is with out a doubt the most accurate revolver I have.

Thanks Howdy! I thought I remembered that the gripframe was the same, but I recall a lot of things wrong.  ;D

If you don't find what you want, hollor, I think I've got a set you could have, I reshaped the grip frame on my 32 mag and made new grips, can't shoot it if you can't hang on. ;D

Steel Horse Bailey

DEFINATELY hold on to those original grips, un-worked on, but as mentioned, I THINK the Vaquero grips will fit.

Jax, I searched the gunroom today, sorry no grips, I may have gave them away and forgot or they are in that attic in a box, one of maybe 30.  They wern't in the drawer I thought they were in and I searched all my drawers in the gunroom.  I did find a Roman Candle and an oversize popbottle rocket and don't have any idea where they came from. ??? ::)
